On June 11 we hosted our new event “NCCJ Norwegian Seafood Sushi Party” at the Norwegian Embassy’s Aurora Hall. This was the first event where Mr. Svend Haakon Kristensen participated as President of the Chamber.

Along with a welcome toast by the new President we also enjoyed a presentation about history and trends for Norwegian seafood in Japan by Project Manager and Advisor Mia Sætre Bernhardsen from the Norwegian Seafood Council.

After her thorough introduction to the world of Norwegian seafood it was time to taste some first-class sushi (including Norwegian salmon) prepared by sushi-chef Harumichi Fukuda and his team. None less than 1,000 sushi bits were devoured at the Aurora Hall this evening.

This time we had 81 participants representing various organizations, groups, members and guests of the Norwegian business community in Japan. A big thanks to all participants for joining!
