The Nordic Chambers' social highlight of the year, the Scandinavian Christmas Party, is open for registrations. This year the party will be held on Friday, December 11, at the same venue as last year, The Westin Tokyo.

The results of the Fall 2009 Business Confidence Survey themed "More Black than Red - Moving in the Right Direction" are now available. Although the reported sales and profitability figures for the past six months were still in the red (although less that in the previous survey - Spring 2009), this survey shows that the surveyed companies see some positive developments, both regarding the state of the Japanese economy and their own performance.
