Report: NCCJ's General Assembly 2007

NCCJ held its General Assembly of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (NCCJ) on March 19, 2007 at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo. 2 new Board Members and a new Treasurer were elected in to our organisation.

Following the General Assembly, the Norwegian Ambassador,
Mr. Aage Bernhard Grutle, kindly hosted the reception at the Ambassador's residence after the Assembly.

NCCJ Election Results:

New Members on the Board of Directors:

John-Ivar Svinsaas Olsen

Treasurer: Thorstein Strand, Wallenius Wilhelmsen

Retiring Members on the Board of Directors:
Vice President Noriyuki Suizu, Hallvard Leroy AS
Nina Tsukamoto, Laerdal Medical Japan

We welcome our new members and extend our gratitude to Suizu-san and Nina for all their efforts for NCCJ. We wish Nina the best of luck on her return to Norway.

At the reception Ambassador gave a welcome speech after which we enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner prepared as always by Okubo-san (Lilla Dalarna).
We thank H.E. Ambassador Grutle for hosting the event and all of our Members and embassy staff who took the time to attend.
