EBC Update: Mr. Tommy Kullberg set for new challenges.

A fellow Scandinavian chosen to succeed Mr. Richard Collasse as Chairman of the EBC.

Mr. Richard Collasse has now chosen to step down in his role as president for the EBC in Japan. We extend our thanks for his considerable contribution to boosting the European business community's interests in Japan through many years.

Our fellow Scandinavian, Mr. Tommy Kullberg, has been chosen as Mr. Collasse's successor. Career highlights span over 20 years of managing and starting up businesses in Japan. As CEO and President of Ikea Japan K.K 2002 – 2006), Mr. Kullberg was in charge of Ikea's successful launch in Japan and he has previously served as President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce as well as Vice Chairman of the European Business Council. We give Mr Kullberg our full support are delighted that a fellow Scandinavian has been elected to head the EBC.
